Did you know glaciers contributed to the formation of the Illinois River Valley? Learn about how the last Ice Age shaped the present-day landscape. Participants will meet at the Therkildsen Field Station at Emiquon, 11316 N. Prairie Road, Lewistown, to begin the hike through The Nature Conservancy’s Emiquon Preserve. Information will be presented by U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s and Dickson Mounds’ staff.
