DESCRIPTION:Main Street\, Illinois A Bicentennial Celebration\n\n \n\nParlin-Ingersoll Public Library is proud to present "Main Street\, Illinois" by John Lynn on Monday\, October 15\, 2018\, from 6:30-8:00 p.m.  The library program is a celebration of the Illinois bicentennial.\n\n \n\nThe product of a 30-year continuing project to capture the many ways our Illinois towns offer Roots\, a Hometown\, and a Little America for us all\, "Main Street\, Illinois" is a memorable and fun-filled tour of the charms\, traditions\, and personalities of our Illinois towns   mostly small towns   led by the only person who has visited and photographed all 2400 of them.\n\n \n\nJohn Lynn of Peoria has photographed all 2400 Illinois cities\, villages\, and towns. He has also hiked\, biked\, and canoed enough historic and scenic trails\, roads\, and rivers in North America and Britain to circle the globe. He has now shared his experiences and discoveries with over 4000 audiences.\n\n \n\nNo registration is required.  For more information\, please contact the library at 309-647-0328.
