SUMMARY:Bayou Blues Burlesque Show at Big Horse Vineyards
DESCRIPTION:Bayou Blues Burlesque is cabaret style showcase set to live gritty delta blues based in New Orleans\, La. The cast consist of Miss Ooops C.- The Happy Accident of Burlesque- burlesque star\, and producer\, Cherry Brown/ The Curves of The Crescent City-burlesque seductress. The band- Bryan Beardsley/ musical director\, slide guitar\, vocals and emcee\, Matt Dethrow/ stand up bass and co emcee \,and last but certainly not least\, The Famous Mr. Cheeze the performing dog. The band is called the Delta Revues and are an active duo around the city. Both Cherry Brown and Miss Ooops C. (also known as Ooops the Clown) are involved in numerous projects around NOLA regularly. Bayou Blues Burlesque has a regular weekly spot at the Allways Lounge on Fridays at 8pm\, and just wrapped up Season 2 for the summer. The summer break is to give the show a chance to tour nationally\, but does still keep a local schedule. The group dynamic gives way to a good time\, making the audience feel welcome in the camaraderie felt from stage. It has been a great success along with a labor of love and keep fueling forward.
