Central Illinois Art Gathering
The Fulton County Arts, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Canton, Illinois. Our current community project is the Central Illinois Art Gathering, aimed at removing barriers for engagement in underserved communities. We strive to engage the community in social connection and support and provide more visibility/platforms of support for artists where they are valued by the community and have an opportunity for equity. We see the Art Gathering as an entry point to increase equity in our community, which can later be a catalyst for much larger changes. Rural areas are disadvantaged in providing access and exposure to the arts. Artists, Farmers, & community members are welcome! Fulton Mason-Crisis Services & PFLAG Peoria Chapter will be in attendance providing resources. Community projects will take place at the event, with a bounce house for children.
