CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST
We are currently accepting applications/resumes for a Customer Service Specialist in our Canton, IL Banking Center. This position is responsible for performing a wide range of duties related to providing customers and employees with direct service and support for the bank's deposit operations.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform transactions and provide customer assistance through the Integrated Teller Machine (ITM), ensuring a positive and efficient banking experience.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, requests, and concerns via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Assist customers with account maintenance, and online banking services, and ATM and debit card maintenance.
- Assist with new loan input and transactions, remote deposit processing, and supply ordering.
- Provide accurate information regarding a wide range of financial products and services, including accounts and loans.
- Resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Educate customers on financial products, services, and digital banking platforms to enhance their banking experience.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
- Customer service experience in a financial institution or related industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory compliance standards.
