Carpenter/Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter / Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves performing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks on commercial and residential projects, ensuring quality workmanship and safety standards are maintained. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, framing, finishing, and general labor duties, with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
 

Duties

• Perform framing, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, and siding work.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and various equipment.
• Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry, roofing.
• Handle heavy lifting and material movement around the job site while adhering to safety protocols.
• Install fixtures, drywall, flooring (tile laying, flooring installation), and perform remodeling work.
• Conduct construction site cleanup, prepare surfaces for painting or finishing, and assist with plumbing or electrical tasks as needed.
• Follow safety guidelines at all times to maintain a secure work environment.
• Have a valid Illinois drivers license.

Experience

• Prior experience in the construction industry minimum of 1 year.
