MidAmerica National Bank, a well-established and locally owned financial institution serving Central Illinois since 1933, is seeking a qualified and customer-focused individual to join our Retail Banking team as a full-time Personal Banker in Canton, IL. With branches in Fulton, McDonough, and Marshall counties, we are committed to delivering exceptional financial services while making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.
Position Overview:
As a Personal Banker, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service while actively promoting a full range of financial products and services. This position is ideal for an individual with a strong sales background, a passion for helping others, and a desire to grow within a community-focused bank.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service to individual and business customers
- Proactively promote and sell banking products including checking accounts, savings, CDs, and IRAs
- Cross-sell additional bank products and services to new and existing customers
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of bank products, services, and current market trends
- Accurately balance and manage a cash drawer on a daily basis
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail banking or customer service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven sales ability and customer-oriented mindset
- High attention to detail and accuracy
