About the Role:
Spoon River Mechanical is looking for an experienced Plumber to join our skilled team. You’ll work on both residential and commercial plumbing systems, ensuring installations, repairs, and maintenance are completed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and water systems
· Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues such as leaks, blockages, and pressure problems
· Ensure plumbing systems are compliant with local building codes and regulations
· Perform inspections and tests on plumbing systems to ensure functionality
· Maintain accurate service records and documentation
· Work collaboratively with other team members and management on projects and tasks
· Provide excellent customer service and educate clients on plumbing system maintenance
Requirements:
· 2+ years of experience as a plumber (residential and/or commercial)
· Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and venting
· Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and building codes
· Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
· Strong communication and customer service skills
· Reliable transportation and plumbing tools
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with both residential and commercial plumbing systems
· Knowledge of backflow prevention systems and testing
· Experience with gas line installations
