Shopping small can make a BIG difference! Our Shop Canton campaign encourages everyone to purchase goods and services from local business owners year round. By shopping in the City of Canton, our local economy is fortified by increased job opportunities and fewer business closings, and sales tax dollars continue to support local government and vital public services such as law enforcement, fire protection, parks, roads, and much more. Plus, it’s fun!
Chamber Checks
One way to make sure money stays in the community is through our Chamber Check program. Chamber Checks can be purchased in the Chamber office or MidAmerica National Bank and redeemed just like a check or cash at most Chamber member businesses. They are purchased as gifts, raffle prizes, employee of the month awards, thank you gifts, birthday, graduation, retirement, anniversaries, special occasions or just because. They can be purchased in denominations of $5, $10, and $20 and used at participating Chamber businesses. This program has the potential to generate considerable local economic impact and reminds consumers to Shop Local!
